BURBANK MOM — Adios Bell..Hello Dog Haus Burbank
It's no wonder you'll find a line out the door and around the building at this new eatery.
Dog Haus Burbank takes Frankfurters to the next level. These are no ordinary working class street food items. I am a Dog fan. I love hot dogs. But I'm going to admit, I had not tried anything like this until I stepped foot in the newly opened location right here in Burbank. Here's a description of the items I had (And loved):
Sooo Cali... arugula, spicy basil aioli, crispy onions, avocado and tomato. I mean seriously. Crispy onions & aioli? There's no way this is not good. Tae Kwon Dog (BurbankMom Fav)... bulgogi glaze, kimchi, fried egg, korean chili powder. I really only tried this one because it had an egg on it. An egg on a hot dog? Yes, yes, yes. They had me at Kimchi! I was completely surprised at the flavors on this dog in the first bite..and that was a great thing.
The Fonz... hot italian sausage, pastrami and melted mozzarella. This was my husbands favorite. And by favorite, I mean he didn't say a word until it was gone.
Kids Meal... any 2 sliders plus small fries or tots & fountain drink. Don't let the kids meal title fool you. The kids get sliders topped with the same delicious items the big versions have. Mini-Gourmet! Picture Burbank owner, Diana Ramos Diana Ramos is the owner of this new Dog Haus location in Burbank. It replaced the Taco Bell across from Warner Brothers on Olive Ave.
Diana is a down to earth, local mom who after 5 minutes of talking is extremely passionate and excited to be doing what she's doing. When the owner of any establishment loves what they're doing...you know the product will be great.
Stop in, say hello to Diana and grab lunch or dinner. Or, maybe both, I won't judge.
Dog Haus Burbank is located at 3817 West Olive Ave. Burbank, CA 91505 818-566-4287.
