PASADENALOCAL.COM — Dog Haus Teams up with Fosselman’s Ice Cream. Can We Say, Hurray? — by Robin Puelma
Hot dogs and ice cream? Yum. If that’s your jam, like it is mine, then you’ll love this bit of news. The Dog Haus—the ever popular gourmet hot dog spot—is teaming up with Fosselman’s Ice Cream Company. That’s right. At all 10 Dog Haus locations, you’ll now be able to enjoy Alhambra-based Fosselman’s ice cream in soft-serve form. And since two of those 10 Dog Haus stores are located right here in Pasadena, you’ve got no excuse not to sample, am I right?
According to Dog Haus partner Hagop Giragossian, “As a Pasadena-based restaurant, we’ve always had a deep respect for local businesses in our community like Fosselman’s that are as committed to quality as we are at Dog Haus.”
Fosselman’s has served ice cream in the San Gabriel Valley since 1919. And for the first time in its history, will serve its ice cream in soft-serve form. Specifically, Dog Haus will serve up a vanilla soft-serve in a sugar cone or cup and vanilla, salty caramel and dutch chocolate milk shakes. Says co-owner John Fosselman, “We’re looking forward to expanding our relationship with Dog Haus to bring our premium ice cream to our fans in an entirely different form than they’ve experienced before, while also reaching new audiences across the country.”
Seems like a definite win-win.
Plus? On September 7th, Labor Day, Dog Haus will offer its customers a free soft serve cone. (What better way to stay cool in Pasadena than with free ice cream?)
For those of you new to Pasadena, the two company-owned Dog Haus spots in Pasadena are located on 105 N. Hill Ave. and 93 E. Green Street.
