Gourmet hot dogs are on the loose in Las Vegas. California-based Dog Haus launches today across from the Hard Rock Hotel with a menu of gourmet hot dogs, sausages, burgers and more. Franchisee Ian Vanderburg is offering up a free hot dog on opening day, and all drink proceeds from the day will benefit After-School All-Stars Las Vegas.

Seven all beef skinless dogs served on grilled Hawaiian rolls make the menu. Look for the Sooo Cali, with arugula, tomato, crispy onions, spicy basil aioli and avocado; Downtown Dog, with a smoked bacon-wrapped dog topped with caramelized onions, pickled red peppers, mayo, mustard and ketchup; or Cowboy, with white American cheese, smoked bacon, barbecue sauce and crispy onions.

Other menu items include The Fonz, a spicy Italian sausage with pastrami and melted mozzarella and Das Brat with a bratwurst with caramelized onions, sauerkraut and whole grain mustard aioli. Haus Burgers include The Freiburger, with white American cheese, a fried egg, haus slaw, fries and mayo and Holy Aioli, with white American cheese, caramelized onions, smoked bacon and garlic aioli.

Also find the dog slider slathered with cheese sauce and bacon; the burger slider with caramelized onions, white American cheese and mayo; and the corn dog slider coated with a root beer batter. Chili cheese tots or fries cheese sauce, cheddar cheese, haus chili and green onions and beer-battered onion for sides. On the dessert menu, include soft serve ice cream and shakes.

Dog Haus also has a liquor license, and that means cocktails, a can of red or white wine and craft beers by the can or draft, as well as alcohol-infused milkshakes.
