Orange County’s first Dog Haus opens Nov. 22 at the MainPlace mall in Santa Ana. The “craft casual” hot dog outfit from Pasadena is expanding in Southern California through franchising. The chain is known for its all-beef, skinless “gut bomb” hot dogs served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls.

Dog Haus plans to open 100 locations in the next three years. Santa Ana franchisee Ryan Welch has the rights to open 13 locations. On opening day, Dog Haus plans to offer free hot dogs (one per person). The MainPlace location is on the first level below the main food court, next to a planned Blaze Pizza, also coming in November. –
