Danny Gordon is the chef/owner of Flatpoint Barbecue and Heavy Handed in Los Angeles, California. He began his culinary journey traveling the country sampling (almost) all of the barbecue America has to offer. When he returned from his travels, he started Flatpoint Barbecue which quickly became one of LA’s most popular street pop-ups serving oak-smoked meats, house made sausages, epic sandwiches and scratch made sides to the masses. Danny’s second venture, Heavy Handed, a wildly popular food truck known for their short rib smash burgers and beef tallow french fries is set to open their first brick and mortar restaurant in Santa Monica, CA this year.
