The chimichanga was first created by accident. Originating in Arizona, the dish is believed to have been created in the 1920s when a cook at a Mexican restaurant accidentally dropped a burrito into hot oil, creating a crispy golden masterpiece. We gave that golden legend a breakfast-time glow-up and made it Bad-Ass.
